Kale Christopher Makeham (born September 2nd 1993) is a young Australian residing from Echuca, Victoria.

In a career defining moment in 2012 Kale went from a up and coming privateer racer to winning the Australian U19 Supercross championship and in doing so received his first factory contract which kicked off a 6 year pro career, a dream come true since a kid.

Many more successes would follow with notable results such as runner up 2013 MX2 champion, Indonesian Supercross champion, 12 x state champion, 21 x national mx/sx podiums, Oceania classic team champion, Vic off-road enduro champion and more.  What stands out most though is the experience and knowledge he accumulated through these years.

Whether it be from times like riding with Chad Reed, being team mates with Ricky Carmichael, lining up beside Cooper Webb at the Aus-x open, having Ben Townley ride at his house or working with organisations such as Redbull, Australian Institute of Sport, Fox, Oakley, KTM, Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda and more Kale has been able to form a deep understanding of the sport.

Although not racing professionally anymore, Kale remains heavily involved in the sport by now taking his knowledge and passing it on to the next generation of riders through coaching! The focus now is to give back to the sport of motorcycling that has given so much to him by helping other riders participate and share the same passion as he does.

His goal is to create a community of riders all across Australia and introduce the sport in a fun and safe way to a wider audience whilst also keeping as many riders involved in the sport as possible.
